Dhruva Chandra Deevanshi

Dhruva is a Junior Perfumer at Takasago India. Pursuing studies at the Perfumery School in Mumbai, India felt like a natural extension of Dhruva's education, as fragrance has been a lifelong passion since childhood. After graduation, he gained valuable experience as an evaluator in the Scent and Care division at Symrise, followed by a move to European Flavours & Fragrances, where he embarked on his journey as a Junior Perfumer.

In 2022, Dhruva joined Takasago India, where he is currently mastering his craft, fueled by a penchant for ambery fragrances, and a distinct interest in exploring the European and Middle Eastern fragrance market.

''Nowadays, people want to express themselves freely: I find perfumery to be the perfect mediant for self- expression, allowing us to explore pleasure, emotions, and escapism in fragrances. Each perfumer develops a unique perfumery style: in my case, I find inspiration in nature, language, sound, and textures. Collecting inspirations outside of the perfumery world allows me to sharpen my imagination when working with olfactory molecules to compose my fragrances.''
