Emmanuelle Noyer
As Vice President & General Manager of Tom Ford and Artisanal fragrances, UK & Ireland with over 30 years of experience within the Beauty Industry, I love being at the forefront of the transforming landscape, leading the way in sustainability as well as technological innovation, whilst maintaining a high-touch customer approach. I feel very passionate about building each of the brands I am in charge of by creating strategies respecting individual and distinctive Brand DNA, that deliver exceptional services and unique story-telling to all our consumers.
Having gained extensive experience across both the mass and luxury Beauty sectors, I have successfully led high-performance teams across leading UK Brands and developed expertise within Travel Retail and Global Distribution across 87 countries. My proven record as a champion of change and business transformation includes establishing Acqua Di Parma in the UK market after its acquisition by LVMH, as well as transforming the business model of Guerlain to make it a profitable one for the first time since the affiliate brand launched in the UK. I also led the disruptive fragrance launch of Guerlain’s “La Petite Robe Noire,” which was awarded the most creative launch that year.
I am also passionate about building mentoring and support programs for colleagues across the company. Alongside my GM role I am the Co-Chair of the Estée Lauder Companies, Women’s Leadership Network, a network that supports, encourages and engages women across the Company to reach their full potential and emerge as true leaders, both personally and professionally. I am also the Executive Sponsor of our regional Inclusion, Diversity & Equity initiative, which helps to enable our collective mission to have long-term, sustainable impact that creates a more equitable future for all.
Why are you involved with The Fragrance Foundation UK?
It is a privilege to be asked to join the Fragrance Foundation. After 30 years in the industry, I want to give back and inspire young generations to participate in shaping this category for the future. It is such an exciting industry that create jobs, careers and bring so many emotions to millions of people. I hope I will be able to contribute to support in all it stands for.
Why do you love fragrance?
It is the beauty category that brings the most emotions in people. Perfumes have got the power to evoke the most feelings and I love creating memories from the past and for the future.
What is your Scent Memory?
The scent of talcum powder on my ballet shoes mixed with the one of tobacco / smoke coming from the pipe of my ballet instructor (yes, he did smoke during ballet lessons!)
