Frank Voelkl
Frank Voelkl is a senior perfumer at Firmenich. Born in Germany and raised in France, he worked for Symrise in New York before joinging Firmenich in 2005. Among his most notable accomplishments was playing an instrumental role in the conceptual and practical creation of the Le Labo brand; Voelkl collaborated and advised Fabrice Penot heavily in the process of Penot's founding of Le Labo, and he himself created many of the company's most iconic scents, including Santal 33 (originally created as a candle), Ylang 49, Musc 25, and Benjoin 19.
