Olivier Polge
Olivier Polge is a native of Grasse, and the son of perfumer Jacques Polge. He studied art history before taking training courses at Charabot and ACM; Polge joined International Flavors & Fragrances as a trainee perfumer in 1998.
Olivier Polge won the 2009 International Fragrance Prize / Prix International du Parfum for artistic achievements in the field of perfumery.
In 2013, Chanel announced that Polge would become house perfumer on the retirement of his father, Jacques Polge.
Olivier has previously been known for creating some amazing perfumes; Valentino Uomo, Christian Dior Homme and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb (2005, with Carlos Benaïm and Domitille Bertier) to name a few.
